Client overview:

The Ministry of Finance and National Economy is responsible for drawing up and implementing the financial policies of the Kingdom of Bahrain within the framework of the general directions of the Kingdom’s government. The Ministry prepares the general budget of the state in cooperation with ministries and government agencies, in a way that reflects the financial and economic trends of the Kingdom, foremost of which is raising the standard of living for citizens and increasing economic growth rates.


In this context, the Ministry of Finance and National Economy is keen to direct government investment in line with the Kingdom’s financial policies, in addition to managing public debt, maintaining its rates within internationally accepted limits, and working to enhance financial stability through optimal use of available financial resources.

 

Business Need:

Ministry of Finance and National Economy was looking to Centralize the purchases of computers, monitors, keyboards, mouse, docking devices, and extended warranty services for all government entities under the Shared Financial Services Division.

 

In 2021, Fakhroo IT Services was assigned to provide MOF with:

  • Providing High-Level On-Site Support for multiple Government Entities
